Drainage, Erosion Control & Reclamation
Channelisation, gabion revetment and land reclamation: building ground where there was water.
Our erosion control work began on the Osogbo–Ikeja high-voltage transmission line network and now extends to channelisation and reclamation schemes in Lagos.
The methods are conventional (dredge, line, protect, fill, compact); the sequencing is what matters. Gabions are prepared ahead of the working front, geotextile goes down before the hydrology changes, and fill is placed and compacted in layers that can be tested.
